The New York Times:

This is another case involving the alleged misappropriation of significant legal fees by a law firm that negotiated a major settlement of the fen-phen class action litigation on behalf of its own clients as well as those represented by other law firms. Mr. DiJoseph represents both the clients and the firm that claim they were wrongfully deprived of millions of dollars in recoveries and legal fees.

The New York Times:

In this case, Mr. Di Joseph successfully represented a young man who was paralyzed when he was shot by another patron at a concert in Madison Square Garden. Although the attorneys for MSG attempted to prove that the plaintiff was part of a gang of youths who were engaging in criminal behavior at the time of the shooting, Mr. DiJoseph succeeded in settling the case for almost $1 million on the basis of the claim that MSG was negligent in its security measures, which permitted the gun used in the shooting to be brought into the concert.
